For our first child, we rented a hospital style bassinet from a different company, and we not particularly happy with the service. It didn't sound like the cots were disinfected between hires and the person we spoke to was not professional in approach. Thankfully our experience with Baby Bassinet Hire couldn't have been better. We were assured that all bassinets were thoroughly cleaned, and the appearance bore this out - it was in excellent condition, arriving with a cover to protect it from any dust. Our daughter was premature, and though we thought we would move her into a cot quite quickly, we kept having to extend the hire as firstly, she was little and the bassinet was so convenient, and secondly, we couldn't get our older daughter out of her cot to move the younger one in! Michael was very patient, calling us each week to check whether we needed to extend the hire or not. I would definitely recommend Baby Bassinet Hire to anyone thinking of hiring a bassinet.

Hi Michael,
We had an issue with someone inviting themselves to stay longer at our house and we were not in a position to tell them to leave. We had originally intended to put the baby straight into the cot in the nursery however someone was literally sleeping on the floor in the nursery! The afternoon before I was due to come home from hospital my mother rang to see if you could assist us.
She said you were incredibly helpful on the phone and had the bassinet here to us the very next morning.
The bassinet turned out to be the best thing we could have hired! Having the baby in the room with us meant we could keep him comfortable as he was born in early February, we were having 40 degree days and the nursery is not air-conditioned. Being on wheels meant we could take him with us in the house and put him safely in front of natural light to help his jaundice or close to or away from an air-conditioner all without having to disrupt him if he was sleeping. It was also a great bath stand, we used our baby bath in your stand and were able to bath him comfortably at standing height.
All in all it was a great product, the service was excellent and it is something you don’t need to buy as they grow out of it so quickly. You already have so much extra stuff with a new baby, being able to return the bassinet when we didn’t need it anymore was wonderful.
